Back-to-School During COVID19

For three weekends in New Orleans the Johnny Jackson Jr. Foundation has been getting kids ready to go back to school in this unprecedented time in history. On Saturday, Sept. 19, 2020 JJJ would've turned 77 years old, so we celebrated, as we always will on his birthday, by giving back. This year we focused on a Social Distance Back-to-School Give-Away!

We couldn't have done it without the gift of Pastor Tyrone Smith of Next Generation of Original Morning Star FGBC. Another thanks goes to Eddie Scott and Jedidiah Jackson for allowing us to joined forces with HANO. We spent one Saturday at their beautiful Florida Homes development handing out school supplies. And another with the Desire residence at a Thrive 9th Ward location thanks to Oscar Brown. And we culminated with kids coming to the Jackson home and picking up backpacks full of supplies.
